Hi guys! I’m loving the Ruby theme but I have 1 problem, maybe I’m doing something wrong as I am a newbie on WordPress. When I put a widget on Right Sidebar, nothing happens, it is like the right sidebar doesn’t exist. Do I have to do something to make the right sidebar appear or…?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Please make sure you have added the widget in the right sidebar widget area and you have selected right sidebar option in the layout settings.
Could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is not displaying so that i can troubleshoot it and guide you specifically to resolve it?

Thanks Vinod for such a fast response. I figured it out, I didn’t put the option in the layout settings.

Actually, since you have been so kind, I have one small question regarding Additional CSS option that the theme has.
If I update the theme in the future, will my code disappear? Should I use Child theme instead just in case or there is no need for that?
have a great day as well!

No. The code added in Additional CSS option gets saved in the database so it gets preserved when when you update your theme.
Should I use Child theme instead just in case or there is no need for that?
If you just want to make CSS changes then use Additional CSS option and there is no need to use child theme but if you want to do any other changes then you can use child theme. You can find more information about child theme on this page http://freewptp.com/why-and-how-to-create-wordpress-child-theme/
To help us keep support thread separates could you please create new thread for each of your other questions instead of asking them in your single thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.
