    Hi,

    In the old version of Ruby, we used a header widget for a slider plugin and then stretched the widget to be the correct size using css.

    In the new version of ruby, i cant seem to modify the width of the widgets without changing the class col-sm-4 which is used in the footer modules as well.

    Is there any chance we can get IDs on the widget so i can modify just the wdith of one widget instead of all of them

    Cheers,
    J

    Hi J,

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    Yes it is changed in the latest version of theme to improve performance but we can change the widget width easily using CSS code.

    Could you please share me your site URL where the widgets are displaying and tell me the widgets that you want to stretch so that i can help you to achieve it?

    Best regards,
    Vinod Dalvi

    Its the widget with a slider in. Its in Header Widget 1.

    You can try achieving this by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

    Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS

    .col-sm-4.header-widget {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Alternativley, do you know a way i can use the built in slider as a fixed width instead of being full width of the page?

    Yes you can achieve this using below custom CSS code.

    .flexslider {
        max-width:   1140px;
        margin: 0 auto;
    }
