Hi @sweetamiga,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

My footer color is a shade of orange. However, when I put widgets in the footer, the background is changed to a dark gray #363839. Widgets anywhere else on the page will be the background of the page but not in the footer. It’s ugly and I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve attached a photo for you to see. I’ve gone into all the settings and can’t seem to fix it. Please help! Thank you!

You can change its color by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS

.site-footer .footer-widget-inner {
    background-color: #f59620;
}

You can change the color value in the above code to whatever you want to use by referring the following pages.

http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colorvalues.asp
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp

Oh, I forgot – background widget headers can’t be fixed either. And social icons also don’t show up.

I am not sure exactly which background widget headers and social icons you are talking about so could you please describe it a bit more in detail by sharing your site URL so that i can help you?

Best regards,
